We wont lie, it wasn't easy narrowing down to just 10, but these babies are all "Bucket List" worthy and a must on the good old "To Do List" when you come to Jervis Bay.. and to mark each of them off, at least once in your life time.

1. Cave Beach

What can we say about Cave Beach? It speaks for it self, named after the stunning rock formations and caves along side the beach. Cave Beach is listed by National Geographic as one of Australia's Top Spots! Wicked Surf, stunning stretch of sand, surrounded by bush and plenty of "roo's". The walk down to the beach offers incredible views and scenery, surrounded by Booderee National Park. There is also showers, toilets picnic ground located near by.

2. Cape St George light house ruins

Offering breathtaking views and sneaky spot for whale watching. The ruins of the old Cape St George Light House offers spectacular views, perched up on the cliffs edge of the southern Point of Jervis Bay. A historic land mark that offers an educational experience, scenic drive and an adventure of its own.

3. Hole In The Wall

A stunning sheltered beach located in Booderee National Park. Hole in the Wall, has a sandstone rock wall at one end of the beach, with a "hole" in the middle creating the famous formation. Popular among photographers and anyone looking for something a little different or to mark of their travel bucket lists - this is a must to visit while staying.

4. Mangrove Walk

A fun and scenic walk located along currumbene creek in Huskisson, the Mangrove Walk is part of the Maritime Museum. Wheel Chair accessible and 1.4km of native flora and fauna. See the native birds, fish and plenty of crabs when you take this stroll. The Museum also offer a pond full of native fish species, which offers an incredible viewing experience when throwing in some bait or bread.

5. Murrays Beach

This little gem, has some of the whitest sand and stunning back drops that make you feel like you're in a tropical paradise. Murrays is sheltered by Bowen and gives protection from the wind and waves, providing perfect still waters, that are renowned for snorkeling, dolphin spotting, rock pools, swimming paddle boarding and soo much more. If you have to visit one beach - this would be a top pick!

6. Mermaids Inlet

Located in Abraham's Bosom Reserve - Currarong, Mermaids Inlet must be accessed by the walking track, heading through stunning native bush land. Taking the bridge over the creek, sets the tone for this little piece of hidden magic. Mermaids Inlet's incredible rock formations are among much debate on how they may have been formed. The views here will leave you feeling like you're on the edge of the world, with adrenaline pumping and views that make you feel like you found a world treasure.

* We do not recommend doing this with children and we advise correct hiking gear. Refer to signage when accessing these tracks.

7. Point Perpendicular Light House

A scenic off the "beaten track drive" to the northern point of Jervis Bay. Point Perpendicular offers breath taking views of Jervis Bay and beyond. A great spot to spot whales during whale season and an educational experience with plenty to see and learn regarding the still stand light house. No access to the interior, but the architecture and experience is worth its weight in gold.

8. Honeymoon Bay

If you're looking for the perfect beach to spend a whole day then this is it. Honeymoon Bay has ample shade, safe shallow and sheltered waters for the kids, rocks to climb and a favorite for casting a line. This gem is surrounded by bush land with frequenting wildlife and amenities close by. Its an exciting drive, located 10km down the beaten track off of Point Perpendicular Road. Bare in mind when planing a trip to Honey Moon Bay, this area is closed to the public Mon - Fri for Defence Force Exercises, out of holiday season.

9. Gosangs Tunnel

An incredible whale watching spot and breath taking views. Gossangs Tunnel is located off of the Abraham's Bosom Reserve walking track Currarong. A scenic walk surrounded by stunning native bush land, once you get to Gosangs Tunnel at Point Perpendicular, you must access the hole - size big enough for one adult at a time and crawl 20 metres to the other side. Once you make it through, the view is reward itself with incredible views of the edge of the sea cliff. You're adrenaline will be pumping and you will wonder why you didnt do this sooner.

* We do not recommend doing this with children and we advise correct hiking gear. Refer to signage when accessing these tracks.

10. Hyams Beach

What can we say about Hyams that you don't already know and havnt heard before? probably nothing! This beach holds the record as having the worlds whitest sand. Surrounded by picturesque bush backdrops, white sparkling sand in abundance and crystal clear water. We definitely think its one to mark off the bucket list - but if you're coming during peak season then probably just don't even bother. Traffic becomes congested, the village itself does not have much parking and the roads are narrow. There is only one road in and out - so they usually close Hyams off to tourists by mid morning once its at capacity. We have sooo many other amazing beaches that are well worth exploring and are just as spectacular!
